Looking to add some unique embellishment to your knitting? Roosimine is an Estonian inlay technique that creates the appearance of embroidery through contrasting intentional floats on the right side of your knitting. It’s the perfect technique to add a little interest to your next project that is easier than intarsia.

Students will learn:
• How to read Roosimine charts • Working with moving inlay yarn • Hand sewn back stitch steek
• Tensioning
• Finishing


SKILL LEVEL:
Intermediate - Students should be comfortable knitting in the round and reading from charts

MATERIALS:
4mm / US 6 needles for knitting small circumference (Double pointed needles or circular needles for magic loop)

Stitch markers

DK yarn in 2 contrasting colours approx. 20g of each colour
