Vaheldus socks knitting pattern

£4.00

Vaheldus is a cuff down sock pattern that uses roosimine Estonian inlay knitting technique. It is a great knitting project if your new to this technique (I've got you covered with tutorial links in the pattern). Added bonus is that it is an excellent pattern for using up special mini skeins or precious sock yarn leftovers in your stash. Have fun using 1 or 2 contrast colors to really make it your own.

Links to tutorials for techniques used are included in the pattern.

  • This sock is knit cuff down with a simple geometric roosimine pattern that can be knit with either one or two contrast colours - a great way to use mini skeins or small sock yarn leftovers. The roosimine goes down the outside of each leg so there is a distinct right and left sock inspired by traditional Estonian roosimine socks.

Hold contrasting colours double when working roosimine.

The heel flap uses an eye of partridge alternating slip stitch pattern.
