A lightweight dolman sleeve cropped sweater with options for length modification. The sweater has a boatneck neckline and large drapey ¾-length sleeves. It is embellished with corrugated ribbing on the hem and cuffs as well as a Kihnu Vits knitted braids running from sleeve to sleeve. The hem and cuffs are worked with a larger needle to maintain a matching gauge with the stockinette sections, obtaining a boxy and drapey look.
The sweater is knitted from the bottom up, working in the round to the underarm. The front and back are then separated and worked flat, casting on stitches for sleeves using a Crochet Provisional Cast-on. The Provisional Cast-on for the underside of each sleeve is then removed and stitches are placed on the needles to work the front of the sweater and the front of the sleeves. The front and back of the sweater, including the sleeves are joined together with a Three-Needle Bind-off. Stitches for cuffs are then picked up and worked in the round.
