Add an extra detail and skill to your next knitting project by learning a few unique and colourful Estonian techniques. Roositud is an Estonian inlay technique to create the appearance of embroidery by creating a motif from contrasting coloured floats on the right side of your knitting. Estonian knitting features many different types of braids. Braids add a bit of texture, height and interest to any cuff or hem. Knitters will knit sampler wristlets.
