VAHELDUS
Vaheldus is a roosimine sock pattern that uses the traditional Estonian inlay technique called roosimine (also can be called *roositud*). It is a great beginner's roosimine knitting project (I've got you covered with tutorial links in the pattern) as well as a perfect sock pattern for using mini skeins and precious leftover sock yarn in your stash. Have fun knitting this simple modern geometric roosimine pattern inspired by traditional roosimine socks from Estonia.

This sock is knit cuff down with a simple geometric roosimine pattern that can be knit with either one or two contrast colours - a great way to use mini skeins or small sock yarn leftovers. The roosimine goes down the outside of each leg so there is a distinct right and left sock inspired by traditional Estonian roosimine socks.
Hold contrasting colours double when working roosimine.
The heel flap uses an eye of partridge alternating slip stitch pattern.
